The online is inferior(not game servers, the actual Xbox Live service). On the Xbox the achievements are better. Voice chat too. Profiles as-well. And avatars. And a lot more.

Both consoles are even, but most people who prefer the Xbox 360 like myself do so because of Xbox Live.

P.S. I've owned 2 360s and 3 PS3s, so I'm unbiased :p

What I really enjoyed on the xbox was that you could receive voice messages, I wish sony would add that feature on the PS3
