It depends, what do you want. Do you want easy user interface or do you want to customize everything on your phone? Do you use it only for calling/texting or do you want to get everything out of your mobile phone?

-If you want easy usability go for the Iphone.
-if you want customization go for the android.

Ahh, theres the misunderstanding. I meant on contract, which, for me is the only way to get an iPhone

ohh, yeah, your correct, but it still cost double the ammount of an iphone if you do have one on contract

Well like other users have stated the Adriod has more customization, more apps, etc

I have an Adriod, Its pretty cool, My brother has an Iphone there about the same, but to me the Adroid is better, and cheaper(Well depends witch one you want) .

yeah i agree, imo, iphones need to be jailbroken to be able to compete with androids

I hope iPhone 5 will be jailbreakable
