The legalization of marijuana could bring in more than 700 billion tax dollars a year. Billions of dollars would be saved with less people in prisons for minor drug offences.

Its been legal for trillions of years its not till recently 40-50 years ago (thats pretty recent for how long the earth has been here) that it was illegal. One of the reasons it was it made illegal was because (no racism i love black people) blacks smoked it and back when they where frowned apon it was called the devils drug.

Bare in mind it'd be more expensive than it is at the moment if there was tax on it and they would tax the **** out of it.

Thats actually not true. It'd be very cheap and the taxes would be regular sales tax.

If it became legal the demand would rise so much there fore lowering the price for retail. And it would still be lower with tax than it is now :y:
