No. If I was to go into a bank wearing a balaclava, I would instantly be seen as a robber, no matter how cold it is outside. But if I wear one of these, it's fine? No one will know I'm not a woman and I have other intentions than not showing my face. Anyone could be hiding under them, including the most wanted person in the country, and no one would know.

If we go to islamic places, we have to wear what they say. We cannot show our religion by wearing crosses. We get told off. I saw something like this on the news ages ago. A air hostess were wearing a cross in an islamic country and got told to take it off. If we go there, to Pakistan, we should be able to show our religion and wear what we want, like they do here.

im a muslim,
it is not compulsory for a muslim woman to wear a burqa, they can choose to.

and if they choose to, people should learn to respect it.

True, and (if i'm correct) our banks here in OZ do not allow entry if one's face is obscured for example; motorcycle helmets, hoodies, sunglasses etc..
Religious attire, on the other hand i'm not 100% sure of the security risks regarding entry into banks as it's a somewhat of a grey area.
And this, does not help their case.. You must login or register to view this content.

Exactly. Like the guy in the link, see how easy it is? I can't obscure my face with anything other than a burkha? It's like motorcycle delivery guys, having to take their helmet off for 1 minute to put it back on. I can understand why, but no one complains about ninjas.

It's not compulsory in Islam, and I do not see in reason in why it should be " against the law" as long as the women are willing to co-operate with authorities. ( Taking it off when needed).

I live in a Muslim country, I've christian friends, all of them have crosses, and EVERYONE is cool with it.

Racism does not exist in the middle east, period.

Maybe it's only certain countries, I don't know. I'm just stating what I read in the news. I think it COULD have been Saudi Arabi, but don't hold me to it.

LMFAO, I'm sorry. I just find this humorous as Israel and Iran are constantly trying to kill each other.
