on windows movie maker when i edit the video and save it to somthing it works but then when i go to youtube and try to upload it it says its the rong file and needs to go to somthing else how do i change the file to from movie maker file to wmv
File-->Publish Movie on Vista. Not sure about XP, just look for an Export to File option. Though honestly, WMM is pretty bad. I'd recommend using a better program for video editing.
just pick the first menu > press Ctrl-P > choose where you want to save the file and you are done. it can take some minutes because it needs to render first.
