This is the Seventh NextGenUpdate Community Update, the week of September 25th, 2011.

Pirate Poker

This is a new poker system feature that is only available for premium members to enjoy! With this Feature you can play poker against your friends from NextGenUpdate or you can even play online with random people across the globe as well as people from NextGenUpdate at the same time! If it is your first time playing you will begin with some chips or as they are called "doubloons" once you use up your initial stating chips you can buy up to 5,000 chips daily using your vBux here on NextGenUpdate. You may also transfer your doubloons back to vBux if you wish to do that.

vbPlaza is Back

We are finally back to vbPlaza! (Thanks to ENZO-F) We use to have vbPlaza back on vb3 but we now have it back for vb4! Due to this being a non-functional beta that I have updated and restored, there may be a few bugs. So please report any bugs you may see.

In the vbPlaza you can do many things. Shadow your user name, change your font or even have a border around your name or user title. So enjoy spending your vBux on these new options!

Reputation Prestiges

We have a new reputation system here on NextGenUpdate! You can now gain prestige as you gain rep through posts and threads. If you have over 10,000 rep you can prestige, which will give you a nice icon and will deduct 10,000 from your reputation points. With all of that is has also brought back the ability to + & - rep somebody. But of course with that there has to be some caps on how much rep you give somebody and how muck you can take away.

Some of the extra new updates in this include:

Instead of a reset, you lose 10,000 reputation.

You can no longer prestige just by clicking a link without knowing.

Reputation will show as 10,000 if you have over 10,000. (You don't loose the rep, it will come back when you prestige).

Reputation Prestiges come first on the reputation leaderboard.

Reputation Prestiges show throughout the forum.

NextGenUpdate vBux Investment

This is a new system where Drackos will take your vbux and "invest" them in certain areas of the US markets. This is for premiums only as of right now. And you must now have a minimum investment of 250,000 vbux for all future applicants. Any premiums with vbux under 250K will be allowed to stay in as that if they are already in the portfolio. However from now on, the investment is 250,000. And no more taxes on investments.

News Applications - OPEN

News Team Applications are once again open for you to apply! Applications will continue to be open until October 12th when they will close. What you will need to do to apply is as the Battlefield 3 Open Beta starts on September 29th you will need to write a Review on it and that will count as your article. You will need to download the beta and play it on your PlayStation 3, Xbox360 etc..

This can include information on it and what is actually in the Open Beta. (Game modes, guns, maps etc...) And also you can write on what you think about and or how it is and what you think needs to be improved. Remember the better your article the better chance you might have! If you are not going to play the Battlefield 3 Beta and still want to apply then private message me and we can arrange something.
