(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys! I have just went out to my local Best Buy and purchased a brand new HDPVR. I was wondering if someone could link me to a video or website that shows how to get the best settings and what programs I should use to edit my videos. I plan to make a lot of montages and commentaries, so I would love to have the best settings possible. Quality is my number one priority and I spend a lot of time perfecting my videos. Any links or help will be appreciated! Thanks for the help guys.

Sony Vegas or Final Cut (Mac) are good for editing and rendering videos. Cinema 4D is good for making intro animations. Settings are determined more or less by your computer's hardware and internet connection. Rendering can take a long time depending on your computer's specs. If you have a slow connection, you'd render the clips in a lower quality to keep the file size lower. If you Google "Sony Vegas Settings for Youtube," you'll find a bunch of tutorials.

Hope it helps and good luck with your videos.

Moved to General Questions. I'd say the most widely used program to edit is Sony Vegas, and it can be found somewhere in the premium section. There are a ton of youtube videos on how to get the best quality out of your PVR with Sony Vegas.
