Read this 2 days ago, but I agree with it. It's rec football, parents want to see their kids score too. I'm sure the teammates want the ball too. Let him score it up in highschool.

He's allowed 4 touchdowns a game, he can still play after that, just can't score. Give him a taste of playing Defense. Next year, he can score all he can; because the ruling and everything is different from 6th grade football.
