Nope, if you look at it, he was alive during an era where technology was taking a rapid change and quickly advancing. He took advantage and was good at what he did. That's it, you look at all these guys and they are part of the revolution of technology and control much of todays. We are just working off of it now.

In this circumstance, I would say joking is a no but in many others then yes. You have to be able to joke about these things to find the brightest of bulbs. :/

I don't think you realize but without these two people the computer would not be what it is today. Not making them sound like gods but they did A LOT for the tech world and made it what it is today.

Yes, they did do a lot but you are missing my point. And you never know, if they didn't make it, someone else's mind may have clicked and they could have created what they created but even better. You never know is the thing. We all are capable of this, I understand the credit and the gratitude but stopping for a person a giving praise... Just is a no no.
