Do you think there are any positive effects that come out of being bullied? Do you think going through being bullied makes you a stronger, better person? Is being bullied really all bad? That's not to say it isn't bad at all, but there's always something on the other side of something bad that really weighs it out. Does this apply to bullying and name calling? List what you think are positive outcomes of bullying

Open to discussion, so give the negatives if you choose to.

TWIST: Instead of punishing, how would you handle a bully also in a positive way?

Yer the positive outcomes are that you become a social reject that people are just waiting for to snap and kill everyone. I'm not really sure this is a positive but It could be seen as one you could become famous after you kill your whole class etc.

Bullying is bad altogether, I was bullied alot at the start of high school, i didn't get name called much, it was more physical just because I lived quite a distance away from the school and didn't really know anyone.

But as soon as the year ended I moved to a more local high school where I knew alot of people, I started getting in with the wrong crowds taking my anger with me from the previous year and bullying whoever, starting fights alot and always getting into trouble. This went on through most of my high school life yet in my old high school I never got into trouble once.

My view on bullying, don't let it happen because the outcome is always a bad one.

more like the awareness to other kids, but most of the other kids ignore the bully and even laugh with them.

Eh,It depends on the type of kid.It can be positive by making you stronger, better fighter, just better in general. Some people just can't take it and don't know how to handle things=Suicide. Some kids are just crazy waiting to be ignited=Crazy rapist killer. It depends on the kid.

People need to realise that it's not always the "strange" kid that gets bullied. I know some really beautiful girls with a great personality who got bullied, not because they were strange but because people are jealous. Also, this is not only a problem with school children. It can happen in the work place also.

Well last year i used to go to school everyday with a smile on my face Eg: Smile , but when tutor came at the end of the day i would always get called names. The girls would always bully me about my hair. all it greasy Etc :'(. But then a few months after i got my hair styled proffesionally and washed it evryday, as i was afraid to be called greasy. I still do wash my hair evryday, but now all the girls love me and my hair completes me as a person - well thats what they say :'Winky Winky. So yeah. I guess that is positive bullying?x

I wouldn't know if there was a positive, I've always been able to both physically and intellectually stand up for myself. Not sure if any positive could possibly outweigh the negatives though..?

Nothing good can really come from bullying. I was just watching a new's video online about a kid who was bullied and committed suicide. Then at homecoming they dedicated s song to him and during the song a group of kids started chanting "Hes better off dead, hes better off dead". If you ask me, all bulling is ****ed up no matter what.
