If you absolutely need a new phone right now, then get the 4S. It will do everything you need it to do. However if you can wait, then I would strongly recommend waiting for the next redesign as the 4S doesn't bring anything amazing to the table.

iPhone 4S has same design than iPhone 4 so I would choose iPhone 4 because it will cost less, who cares about the speed, iPhone 4 is already a hell of great phone

it took them 16months to get to this stage, they will really piss people off if they make a new model (5) in under 12months! id like to think they wouldnt do it... but you never know with apple

yeah you shouldnt undrestimate apple! i think they would definetly release a new model next autumn to make some more cash! if you think about it all the technology in the 4s they couldve put in the 4 but they didnt!

yeah exactly, thats apple all over! im due for an upgrade now so i will actually get one, but if i wasnt at the end of my contract i wouldnt get it until my contract ran out if i got it at all and didnt just wait for a 5! siri looks good, but how well it will ACTUALLY work is to be questioned and also how much most people are going to use it?

Siri and that are part of iOS 5, so if you had an iPhone 4 you could get those features on it when you install the new OS when it is released.
Apple are always releasing new models as soon as they get the ideas for it so they always have their best on the shelf, and people always buy their newest stuff because they just feel the need to and that is why Apple keeps on doing it.

It's up to you, do you want 2011 technology for a phone with not much difference to the 2010 one that will go for about 2 years before you need to get a new one, or just get one from last year and get the next model which will be much more extra features than what you would've gotten in the 4s.

But you can't really make a decision when no one has actually used the phone, it's just Apple's marketers selling off the phone by their OS features, when it comes to consumers you can make the decision if you're willing to wait, it's up to you

Just wait for the 5, 4s is baiscally the 4....
