A) How many heads altogether were in the field?
B) How many legs did all the cattle have together
C) How many legs in the field?
D) if there were 50 heads altogether and a total of 140 legs, write two equations x and y
E) Solve the equations from D) to find x and y.

C)4x + 2y
D)x + y = 50 4x+2y=140
E) 50 + 140 = 190 heads 4(50) + 2(140) = 480 legs.
