You've made a silly mistake. All leters are in alphabetic order.

4x+2y = 140
x+y = 50

x = 50 - y

200 - 4y + 2y = 140

200 - 2y = 140

y = 30

4x + 60 = 140
4x = 80
x = 20

y=30
x=20
