1. Physical copies cost pennies on the dollar to make. In digital distribution XBOX Live Marketplace and the Playstation Store get a substantial cut of the sales. The only reason they choose to distribute digitally is because its a convenience to gamers.
2. Advertising costs millons upon millions of dollars. MW2 cost 50 million to make, but 200 million to distribute and market. I never said that marketing costs outweigh final DLC sales either.
