MW2 shipped with 16 maps, so the 15 dollar pricing seems fair considering that they also have to digitally distribute it and re-advertise it which probably cost more than the development. Supporting video game devs is the same as buying an album, you might be paying 10 dollars for an album, but only 1 dollar will go to the artist. Im more than happy to pay those 9 meaningless dollars as long as the other 1 dollar goes to the original producer because I can recognize how hard they work.
1) Digital distribution is infinitely cheaper than making physical copies of games. Anyone should be able to figure that out.
2) Advertising costs a minimal amount, not even near what they make in DLC sales. Not anywhere near.
3) I don't buy albums because of that very reason(well, and I'm kinda poor for slow-solicitor reasons, long story :p).
