One of the largest supplies in new traffic to any website is Google Search. They have and will continue to make large changes in there algorithm which affect the SERP of a webpage. The Plus One Button has already started taking affect on placement. So the question is how can you help NGU? It is simple, click the +1 button on threads you find helpful, the homepage or anywhere on NGU. Each Plus is per page and will help give the page more exposure.

You might have some questions, and I will try to cover most of them here and now.

- Do you have to sign in?
Yes you need a Google Account (if you have a youtube, gmail, picasa or any other google product sign in, it is all a google account)

- Do other people see I +1'ed the page(s)
Yes and No. Only people who know you can see it, and even then you can disable +1's from showing in your profile

- How big of an impact will it make?
The increase will be higher and higher over time. This is still the beginning stages, but NGU should still take advantage of it now

- Should I Like, Digg the posts as well?
You could, but +1 will directly affect Search. That is much bigger then the other buttons.

The Home page only has 183 +1's right now, the higher the number the more traffic and the larger NGU will grow.
