(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Why the **** do hippies complain when the government has to use violence remove them?
I mean when you disturb the peace and refuse to move, the only option is to use non-lethal violence.
If you're a hippy, expect to get your ass kicked on a daily basis. It's in the job description.

Because the 1st amendment is the right to assemble. They have the right to sit around a public place in a group and do nothing. This is why people are mad when police use force on them, when they are doing nothing illegal.

The following 2 users say thank you to Winning for this useful post:

Actually wrong; the rallies that ended with police brutality occurred during the week. They actually blocked off the streets which meant people couldn't get to work. When a rally prevents someone from getting to work, the person's right to the pursuit of happiness is infringed upon.
The police are then notified. When asked to peacefully disband the rally, they do not which then gives the police officers the legal right to use non-lethal
violence to enforce their request.

Exactly, a private place has the ability to tell people to leave and use force if necessary to disband those who do not obey peacefully.
It's not like they said we respect this private area's rights, we'll leave; they refused and therefore removed by force, which is a viable option to those who
do not wish to conform to the laws.
