I'm now an alcoholic and smokes bud everyday, and I'v been ditching school on my senior year. Today I come home telling me that Gamestop asked to be called back and I do and I have an interview tomorrow at 10pm. I applied from a long time ago before dairy queen when I was doing applications for every store. Tomorrow the interview and its my 18th birthday too. I'm pretty excited and really hope this is the sign of god or something helping me get back on my feet. I love video games and have alot of knowledge about games knew and old. Its like a dream job to me at this moment in life.

What can I do to prepare myself for this interview. Im 5' 11 and weigh 145lb. I'm thinking of wearing some chucks, jeans, and a white dress shirt not tucked in. I feel that gamestop is more of a casual place so can't be too fancy. What questions should I be prepared to answer from people or know what I should expect.

Dress smart, no matter what the job is for, even if it was for a sewage works. It shows that you can scrub up good. Trousers, shirt and tie (jacket if you feel like one.) Tell them about your job at dairy queen, but don't say you were fired, that's if you were. Say something about the recession or some shit. Tell them what you did and try to link that to what you will be doing, like serving customers for DQ.

This is what you need to do, when I worked at Gamestop the dresscode was slacks and a black polo shirt. Need to present decent customer service skills and organization; will spend a decent amount of time re-organizing the shelves after everyone touches something and puts it wherever the hell they feel like.
