If you have watched the news for at least five minutes since september you've probably heard of Occupy WallStreet or Occupy [city name here]. What are your thoughts on this movement? Is it really helping us? Is it going to succeed?
In my opinion the main idea behind it's good because the economy in every country in the world is F.U.CKED but with so many groups around the world is like playing telephone, at some point the main idea is completely changed. Let's take Occupy Oakland (OO) as an example. Most of the protest in OO are now violent, which is something the original group (Occupy WallStreet) does not agree with. I mean this people in Oakland have taken it to the next level, by attacking people in suits that are going to work. Just because they have a suit doesn't mean they have millions in their bank accounts. Some of these people are ignorants that don't have anything better to do with their life. Yes I know there are the smart ones that are the ones that actually came up with the idea but there are many other ways to do it, not just attacking everyone in a suit or nice car.
I also don't like the fact that they're blaming everyone that's rich for their problems with finding a job. Not everyone with money is responsible for their problems, and some of these rich people actually worked hard for their money. Why can't some of these people take a job as a garbage men, farmer, or construction. I see mexicans going to work everyday in anything they can find, why can't some of these "protesters" do the same. Everyone wants a job at a office, but there's a limited amount of jobs in that field so only the best get in. Why not take one of the easy jobs that don't pay that much, but at least pay. We all can use an extra gardener that actually speaks english, or a good farmer that makes sure we eat good food.
Another reason to why I think they're not going to be very successful is because there are many other groups protesting with the occupy wallstreet protesters so there are mixed messages. They've been protesting for about two months now and nothing has really been achieved is there really a point for them to be there for any longer?
