So im in year 11, and tonight my school had a option evening, where we get to talk to the teachers and students about our options for sixth form.
In the end I've chosen:
Economics,
Politics,
Maths,
IT.
you may be read this and be like :wtf:
but for those of you who don't know, there is a grid system, you have to choose 1 subject from each box (other then 1 box which would be your free lessons)i
and the lessons i wanted wouldnt work as they clashed.
although its not perfect its actually not far off what i wanted to do..
i was just wondering what your thoughts were and if anyone has advice, feel free :p
may i ask what do u want to be in the future?
These subjects are quite good combinations. BTW dont ever slack around during 6th form. Im year 12 taking maths, computing, IT, physics. I originally picked chemistry instead of IT but after like a months lesson i gave up, its too hard. i was failing maths for the first month. We got these end of unit test and i keep getting around Us and Es, the head maths talk to me and he said there gonna kick me out of the course if i keep failing. After that moment, i started working hard. The next test we did i got 100% lol. It actually scared me.
Yh my advice is just work hard in your GCSEs this year, trust me its nothing compared to 6th form.
When you reach 6th form make sure the options you're gonna pick now you'll enjoy in the future.
And always ask your teachers for help when your struggling.
