Infamous.
Climbing up the ladder
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Im looking at buying a gaming headset around Christmas time, ive narrowed it down to two possible headsets that are most appealing to me.

The Tritton Devastator:

Its a wireless stereo gaming headset, which is co-branded by Xbox, so one USB connection does all of the work. It has a detatchable microphone and is apparently good for personal use on MP3 players etc.
Priced at £115.

And the Turtle Beach Earforce X41:

This ones a Dolby Digital 7.1 suround headset, also wireless. Its not Xbox co-branded so it would require mutiple connections to the console which I dont mind. Its microphone is non detachable and requires USB power. Priced at £90-100

Any feedback is appreciated, if you have any of these headsets why not tell me what their like? k

If the Turtle Beach with surround sound is less money than the stereo trittons, why wouldn't you get the Turtle Beaches?

I would still suggest the Turtle Beach though. I've had Turtle Beach X4s (5.1 surround sound) for around 2 years now, and they still work and sound amazing. The only thing I've had break was the wire that connects from the headset to the controller, but I just bought a replacement on the turtle beach site and it came fast.

By the way, your description for the TB seems wrong? Mine has a detachable microphone and it runs on 2 AAA batteries (you should probably get some rechargeable ones :p), not USB.
