(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay, so my PS3 controller doesn't work anymore. (I think I got it wet) Sometimes the buttons work, and sometimes they don't :/ And its passed the one month return policy at walmart. So here's my idea- Go to walmart, buy a new controller(Same color) and then go home, put broken controller in new box and return in with some bogus story. So I basically get a new controller for free :y: Good or bad idea?

That's called stealing, while you may get away with it, it is still morally wrong.

So, IMO bad idea :n:
You've lied to me so many times, isn't that morally wrong? And what decides if somethings moral anyway?

That's only if it was within the last hour and that the water has not sat there on the hardware. I just spilled water on my controller a few days ago and half of it stopped working so I stuck it in rice within the 30 minutes and left it there for 2 days, pulled it out, cleaned it up and now no issues.

You have to be quick though, let it sit for a day and expect possible damage to your hardware.

Lol, it works most of the time, depends on how much water is spilled and how fast you react.

Also, if you do this on a phone, take out the battery, since when a battery is connected it still gives off a charge to the phone which keeps the phone still running (even though it appears it isn't).

Thats why people with iPhones are ****ed. Its nearly impossible to take out the battery or to even open the ****ing phone. lol

It helps, doesn't mean you have to. Just increases the chance of it not getting murdered.
