(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i was just thinking about it, imagine how many tax dollars it cost to pay for all the sports things, is it reallly worth it, can you imagine how much more money schools would have for other things, and some schools are near broke and spend a shit ton on sports, and this is just a thought, i dont play any school sports, so id be kinda biased, also i do like watching sports and do boxing, but what do you think?

Na cutting sports isn't the right thing. Allowing money that is currently only allowed to be used for capital improvements to be used elsewhere is what needs to be done.

Of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sports are a favorite past time for kids for YEARS. Sports is a HUGE industry. You just simply can't take out sports. Many sports teams get lots of money from admission to games and fundraisers. When I played, we used old uniforms, had old balls, crappy fields, rusting goals, but it was still fun. Playing sports was one of my best childhood memories.

This isn't even an argument.

I played football we made enough money to carry us and the rest of the schools programs for the year with plenty left over. BCHS (High school i played for) makes over 150,000 off of ticket sells alone 6 home games/5 bucks per ticket usually full house with people standing around fences tracks ect. This isnt counting the concession stands, and gear such as hodies ect.
And it doesn't count playoff money that the teams split.

Tell me how we need tax payer money? If people come and watch your team then it will make money bottom line.

Also you know how shit school would be for some kids without sports?
