So I was watching some YouTube videos in the nature of car modifications and such when I went off on a tangent by clicking a very interesting video on the side. My digression paid off. I found some inspiring videos of cops being ignorant of the laws they are trying to enforce. I kept side clicking and… pretty much, it was a gold mine. A plethora of cops getting schooled. I was so interested because I’ve had similar experiences, and one very recently. I was coming home from work when a cop pulled me over literally right before I was about to park; reason being my exhaust was “too loud.” I’ve been pulled over before and most cops have had the decency at least ask me how I’m doing. Yes, I know that it is meaningless, but this fella was aggressive. No dinner, hell, not even an appetizer, he wanted to get straight down to ****ing me. He walked with his chest pumped and a mixture of confusion and anger clothed his face. First words were, “License and registration.” Then he found out that I wasn’t some lunatic murderer returning home from a massive genocide and told me that my exhaust was too loud. I know the exhaust laws in California, so I decided to give him a run for his money. Pretty much, modified exhausts are allowed and must be under 95 decibels. Now, 95 decibels is loud enough to make your ears pop and my exhaust was no where near that. So I began questioning the questioner. I asked him for a decibel reading on how loud my exhaust was because too loud was a bit vague for me. Of course he didn’t know. He was probably assuming I was just some dumb “ricer” kid driving around aimlessly. Anyhow, the guy was dumbfounded and I don’t think he had the proper equipment to test the sound, unless he was some sort of robot. All in all, the law enforcer guy let me go with a warning. A pointless warning for that matter. Point of the story is to know your laws and your rights!
Now, to the good stuff!
(Before you start jumping to conclusions, I am NOT generalizing all police officers. There’s no proof that all are idiots like the ones in the videos. I found these relative and entertaining)
This is my personal favorite. I know this guy is being some what of an asshole, but the cops reactions are just hilarious. Best part is when the cop asks the guy to sign the citation and the cop says he has the choice of signing it or not. The dude in the car refuses and then the cop says it's a criminal misdemeanor to not sign the citation. In a bit, he writes another citation for not signing the other citation. This cop simply doesn't make sense and seems like he just wants to get this guy for something.
This one is awesome, also. The cop asks the lady to turn off her camera several times and even comes up with some wire tap law which doesn't even apply to the current situation. The old guy (not the cop) is supposedly some gun club member and he is teaming up with the officer and spouting more bullshit towards the lady. However, she is a lawyer and knows a lot more about the law than all three opposing people combined. In turn, the cops get owned.
Alright, the officer in this one even fails to correctly site the warning. Instead of telling the guy what law he is breaking, he tells him to look up the code for the said law "online." He then adds on some more bogus citations and doesn't show up in court.
This is another good one. This guy seriously owns these cops. He accuses them of shit like piracy and kidnapping and shit. I don't even know if it's legit, but the cops look scared. In the end, the cops let the child go.
This one is short and sweet. The officer isn't wearing her seat belt and the guy recording says she is breaking the law. She simply says, " I'm the law, you're not." What a c*nt.
Title says it all.
Pretty much like the first ones. The guy is being cited for tinted windows, but it drags on and I think he's just trying to piss the cops off. However, still funny.
Cops says let me see your drivers license and the guy taping says, "am I operating a motor vehicle right now?" haha, best part.
This is a montage of ignorant and idiotic cops.
Guy tells the cops to **** off, people clap, it's almost like a movie scene.
There's tons more videos like the ones above, but I'm gonna end this thread with this one below. Hopefully it'll lighten the mood haha. (Not really relevant to the one's above.)
