(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm deciding on getting either for Christmas and I don't know which on to get. I've been playing the previous battlefield and I have grown to love it over the Modern Warfare series, only thing I like about MW3 right now is the Special ops and survival but I can see myself getting bored with it.

I love RPG games but I hate that when I beat them there is that boredom factor of having to play it all the way through.

Which do you prefer so I know which one I should probably get.

It really depends, doesn't it? whether you prefer online games or sitting on your own playing a single player game. I had skyrim for a while and it was awesome, you just can't expect to play it all the time and not have any other game to play. It gets seriously boring constantly playing a single player game, and it's quite depressing if you have nothing else to play with friends etc. I personally find multiplayer games more enjoyable, but that's just me and my opinion would be to get BF3.

My advice would be to go look at some videos on both games, or even some streams. I think that would be a better deciding point rather than people who could have a complete different opinion than you on games. This way you can make your own opinion on the two, and you wont be disappointed.

I would get BF3 for sure. The single player of skyrim might be better, and the game itself may run more smoothly - but at the end of the day, you'll be playing BF3 for the next couple of months (maybe even years). Skyrim on the other hand will last you a week or two. Unless you're one of those people that plays it over and over again with different difficulties.

I'm thinking about just getting skyrim, I like the fact that I can play it over and over and would most likely beat it one month and then a couple months later play again differently.

I can see with Battlefield going through repetition. Plus, I just bought for 20 bucks a slot on someones account and got about 20 games downloaded so I'm set anyways.

You have to get both, they are both AMAZING.

You can't really get bored with Skyrim after beating the main quest because there's still the Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, Mages Guild, etc. that have their own storylines + the infinite side quests. Winky Winky

Has been a while
I would say Skyrim as there are SO many things to do in there even after beating the main quests. I think some guy is making a PC mod of Skyrim where he adds a multiplayer component to the game. BF3 is fun too, the only thing I don't like about that game is that I get paired up with idiots most of the time... and when I do play with my friends in a squad, the game freaking splits us up into different teams -__-
