Now it has come to my attention that someone has made a PSN account named "NGU-Alpha" and has decided to go around attempting to scam users. Sadly, one user has already been scammed by "me". That PSN is not mine, I can assure you that. I presumed many of you would have known that my PSN was ImMrAlpha, but it seems that is not the case.

Now for one, please have common sense in that, you should always message me on HERE on NGU before anything. I would assume that people would be smarter than to simply believe a PSN message, but then again, not everyone thinks the same way I do.

Second, when dealing with real money, putting Vbux aside, you should take every precaution necessary. I now know that I should not be so frugal with my information, thought I could trust people, but it is the internet. But I'm done with that..

The point of the thread was, and this was not just made as a personal vendetta, that you can't be careless. I don't mean to put the user on blast or anything, and I know PM's are supposed to be private, excuse that, but it is needed.

I had this guy add me on Skype called Alpha-NGU asking to do a deal with some of my PS3 UT coins, as i know that Alpha is a FIFA man i thought nothing of it.
Conversation went on for a few hours as i was busy and had to keep popping out.

Anyway, eventually he said he had $120 to spend and that he would buy some coins off me, using the excuse that he was a well respected mod on NGU bla bla bla, i started to think that, hang on,somethinv fishy around here, i asked him that he sent me a PM on NGU to confirm he was who he said he was, but he made some excuse that Pm's were playing up on NGU and he couldn't send one at the time.

That's when i sent Alpha a PM on here asking if it was really him, awaited Alpha's reply to confirm what i already thought.

I will see if i can get an ip address or some sort of info out of Skype that maybe help find who this idiot is.

I'm really surprised this thread hasn't been made before, because well, it's really important and should have been made years ago.
And whoever still thinks Alpha did it, why would a well respected member and moderator scam a member?

Yea, i found one (not on here tho) but you need to be chatting to the person to find out what IP they're on, because i dont chat to him anymore i can't fin out the IP.
