I'm a fan, but I say no. Hughes has splashed the cash, but in wrong ways. We have brilliant new strikers and midfielders, but hardly any good defenders, apart from Dunne. Anyway, it's all about team chemistry. I'm unsure about that atm. When Hughes has pulled his act together, I see 3rd or 4nd next season.

I think they will. They have bought some good players, yes they overpaied for them but thats not an issue they have unlimited money. They have got good strength in depth and this rivals Liverpool and Arsenal.

Theres no doubt in my mind as long as key players don't get injured they will be up there. Whether they make the top 4 or not depends on their key players like Adebayor and such not getting injured.

My top 6 will be as follows

Chelsea
Manchester Utd
Liverpool
Tottenham
Arsenal
Man City

The last 4 are pretty interchangable though, and this is comming from a Liverpool fan!

i think they will be up there, but they will not get into the top 4 ahead of Arsenal Chesea Man U or Liverpool, out of those the most likely to drop would be arsenal as we were 4th last season, however with a 6 - 1 victory over everton (who claim to be challenging for 4th) and a 2 - 1 defeat to man u (which should have been a 1 - 0 win) if we keep playing like that we wil not drop out of the top 4, meaning that city will not get into it
