No way man, they've got all that money,
Yeah they've got superb players,
But, chelsea bought Shevchencko and Ballack,
Trying to build a super team.
Man City will FAiL. I mean, they got rid of their whole squad.
For a whole new team, the team might not have any chemistry?
When players went there, they tought, " Oh that guys better than me, I wont get to play in my position" Then the money kicked in.

i give Man City three years before they win anything,
They need t build chemistry, when thats done, if they don't go bankrupt.
Or sell all their players, then I think they have Arsenal/ Villa outta the top 5.

until then, Liverpool FTW <3

Like my post, +Rep and i'll return.

I love CoD4's comment was perfect. BUt the owners will think in a couple of years if they haven't won anything they'll bugger off somewhere else and Man City will go down the tube.

My verdict is no. Most of the players they bought are injured. Nah not this year but maybe next they could challeng us

Here's to Loonyology!
Yes they will CHALLENGE for the top 4 places, whether they can get one is another matter!

If im honest Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool will finish in the top 3. The only chance Man City have is by taking Arsenal's place in 4th, which will be a hard task.

But in my opinion they are more likely to finish 5th - 8th, which will still be an improvement on last years finish for them.

Well guys, look at chelsea a few years ago. No where near the top 4 then abvomvic bought them and they were the best team in the prem. Vaniveiri bought the players and mountinho played them together.

You can't be sure whether they'll be good or not. They've bought good players but theres no gurantee they'll all work together well, although Gareth Barry was a good buy and played well on saturday working well for the team just in front of the back four where he plays good. Man city have finally got a good defence but the main problem as I can see is that they have far too many forwards and as you cannot keep rotating forwards someone will end up being left out; my guess is that it will be Santa Cruz.
