(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); And experience!! Such as noticeable input lag and what not.

Why am I asking?

1) I ****ing love NGU, I am honestly trying to become a more active member. And feel that there are a-lot of people here who may be able to help.

2) I need a new TV, range: ($500-$1000, 46" lcd or led). I know plasmas are good but, we had one and after I played a couple hours of GTA and then my stepbrother and sister playing after I did the screen was burnt in. (about a week of playing) The TV was not that old.

3) O input lag!! Recently I have been reading about input lag and what not, I'm getting ****ing sick of all this information. Some people claim you cannot really notice the lag, but I disagree.

I used to play mw2 on a crt until I started using our living room tv.. A 32" lcd and noticed that I started playing pretty shitty. So that is when my researching started a year and a half ago.

I will continue to do my research on the side, but I would like to know your personal experiences.

So TV brand, size, lcd?led?plasma? age?

22" 1080p LG TV. Using it as a computer monitor atm but have used it for console gaming also, very good picture quality but the build-in audio is dreadful. You'll need speakers or a headset to get good audio.

I'n my room I have a 36in 1080p Samsung TV. It's amazing, better then any other HD TV I have ever owned. Also, to reduce "Input Lag" (I've only heard people call it by screen lag) use a high speed HDMI cable like the official PS3 one. And yea, you might wan't to stay away from plasma screens if your last one got burnt.
