I haven't checked if anyone posted this or not, but it's scientific notation. It's 5*10^6 (5 to the sixths power)

8/9 = 0.88888888 (recurring)

1/9 + 8/9 = 9/9
0.1111111+0.888888 = 0.999999 which means if the number is recurring it must be equal to one! There are lots of other proofs which are similar to this, this is just the one i was taught at A level because it is the easiest to remember

So its not 9,999,999.999 because the decimal 9 is recurring, which means it is 10 million

I know the logic is difficult to understand but there are working proofs you can look at all over the internet
