(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); First off, I'm saying this as a republican. I will be voting for Ron Paul.

I think Mitt and Newt are dumbasses. Just plain dumbasses. Obama would be a better president than either of those two. Obama is going to win unless something radical happens. People are getting jobs and he has near a half billion in relection funds. The man can't be beat.

Discuss.

It honestly does not matter who ends up being elected, they are just basically a speaker with another title. They are more of a figure head then an actual leader. Everything runs through congress and the senate and they basically decide where we spend our money, what we are going to spend it on and how much is going to be spent. They also decide/vote on where jobs are going to go, etc. I know many others wont agree, but take a look at the trends, it starts with one president, then the one after him gains all the shit that the previous set of politicians ****ed up for them and so on and so forth.

Yea,I don't understand how people blame Presidents for what they did/did not do. Congress decides almost EVERYTHING they can and can not do. Shame people don't understand what little power the President actually has.

Honestly, people don't give Obama enough credit. You can't be given a shitsack and expect it to be gold in a few years. He's done a good job so far so he should come back.

Anyone but Newt. Anyone...... Newt has no morals. He even cheated on his fuking dying wife who had cancer. While she was in the hospital, Newt was running around with all kinds of women. Obama has lived a better life than this bafoon.

Paul wants to legalize marijuana and heroine. Though I think the heroine is a bit radical, I am all for ending the drug war.

heroine is gonna be legal but user are gonna be put in clinics. For "medical" heroine these clinics are made to slowly get the users off heroine with out getting aressted and etc. Sweden does this theres some youtube videos if you wana look up about it. It brought there heroine user rate down by loike 10% i think. DOnt hold me too that though

Eh that involves more of the armed forces then whats going on in our country and economy. So yes, he has alot of power in that sense, but on other more important issues, he is nothing more then another voice in the crowd.

The president is one man who can veto a bill passed by 535 men in Congress. That's pretty damn powerful to me. If Congress is 51:49, every bill the president wants to pass gets passed, and he can stop any bill he wants. He can give any man a pardon and issue executive orders.

The president makes up the budget, which basically allows him to put money into whatever he wants.

Yes, Congress has a lot of power, but the president can reject Congress, just as Congress can reject the president his. The powers are balanced.
