(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys,
First off I'm 18 and I got arrested yesterday. I live in Georgia,USA and the cops are stupid as fuk. If you are from the south you know what I mean. They play the buddy buddy system.

Basically I got into a fight with a 19 yr/old guy at around 11AM on my own property and he was admitted for an overnight observation, I was bought there also But I was cleared with only a black eye, 3 fractured ribs and a dislocated foot. So they came to break it up (Witch they did) I did not resist at all, I stopped as soon as I saw them and they said I was under arrest. They refused to tell me why and kept asking me questions (Witch I did not answer) They refused to read me my miranda rights and shit. So anyways I was booked (For what I don't know as they would not give me paperwork) and I was held for around 15 hrs. I was then released (Without paperwork, They refused to give it to me) and so I was like wtf just happend, I got a court date of March 12, 2012. I found out today that the guy I was in a fight with was a cops son(I am ****ed now). I don't think I broke any laws, I think that the police are breaking the law by withholding information.

Anyways word is the kid was released form the hospital today with broken color bone(How the ****?), broken nose, 6 cracked ribs, cracked eye socket? and some other shit. He got pretty ****ed up.

So guys this is a serious question, I am not bragging or anything. I am not lying about what I said about him or what I'm about to say, I used to train with a 2 time Korean Olympic judo gram master and with an award winning jiu jitsu fighter. When I was 14-15 I placed 12th in the junior Olympics (18 and under)for this style of fighting. I can afford to hire an attorney witch I will most likely will do but before I do I want to know some facts. Maybe some of your friends or parents friends are lawyers so I can get some advise.
Did I break any laws, What laws did the officers break? Also the kid never got arrested..

Thanks guys,
Michael

yes your constitutional rights were severely violated and you should have asked for a lawyer when you were being held, they can't do that
I dont know enough about law to tell you much more than that though, sorry

I used to live in Atlanta... (Yes I know, Thug Capital of the South) but now I live in Montgomery but anyways...

They violated your Constitutional rights by not reading you your Miranda Rights.

Did the police stake out your location? Or did someone call them up?

All Miranda rights do is protect what you say. And according to the OP he never gave a statement.

For example if a cop says I am under-arrest for murder, they then question be about that murder they are supposed to read me my Miranda rights. If they don't and I say something which could bite me in the ass I could mention to my lawyer that and could potentially have what I said thrown out.

As to OP, I would contact a lawyer, because they know best. But from my understanding I do not believe the cops did anything wrong. Furthermore you have to prove that the police are withholding information. It's an up-hill battle.

The American legal system is a joke. I believe that cops should have camera's and audio recording equipment at all active times! Unless a cop sees something when he's off duty and has the proper proof such as witnesses. I also believe that our courts should be monitored too.

I wish you the best of luck.

No stakeout, Someone called or they saw me. Police station is only 1 block away, and sheriff is 3 blocks away.
