You guys can also debate whether weed should be legal or not if you want. Feel like having a good debate.

No.

I see no good reason to do so, however I do support legalization for the sole reason that much more harmful drugs such as tobacco are legal.

No, I don't smoke, and I don't feel at any time I will smoke. But yes, I think it should be legalized, alcohol kills way more than weed does and ever will, but I don't think people should make "weed selling" a business, just grow it for your self and don't sell it to anyone. That's my opinion on it. Plus over here (Malta) they should drop the sentences, someone got 10 years for having a marijuana plant!

Ok, here is my beef with marijuana illegalization, despite me not being a smoker myself, I do not see much sense in declaring the drug "unsafe". Many times, "Above the Influence" advertisements would quite blatantly display completely incorrect information about marijuana. But why should I be pro-legalization if I myself do not partake in using it? I can sum it up in one word. Crime. People are going to use the drug (which is quite harmless if not a little senseless) regardless of regulations against it. My major gripe is that when people buy marijuana, they are essentially funding criminal organizations that participate in MUCH more illegal activities than mere marijuana trafficking. I am talking about woman-trafficking, weapons trafficking, violence, hard drugs trafficking and others. Even when legalization won't eliminate the threat completely, it will remove a large income to these criminal organizations. They WANT it to stay illegal, or else they would lose control of their product.

TL; DR Should be legalized to help weaken criminal organizations

I smoked weed for 16 years. From the age of 13 till 29. Yes I am currently 29. But I quit 4 months ago because I needed to take a drug test to get my license back. I actually don't miss it like I thought I would. Although there are a few occasions like when I get very frustrated, or have had too much to drink at a bar when I want to smoke. Luckily for me I have very supportive friends and no access to weed anymore so it hasn't happened. So even though I smoked it for almost half of my life, my answer is now, NO!
