the 2^2 section i think is wrong.

(2a^2 b^4)^2 = (2a^2 b^4)*(2a^2 b^4) = 4a^4 + 2ab^6 + 2ab^6 + b^8. Simplify by adding like terms.

If it was (2a^2+b^4)^2 it would be 4a^4+2a^2b^4+2a^2b^4+b^8= 4a^4+4a^2b^4+b^8
