(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've seen a few threads about how "NGU isn't how it used to be" and "NGU sucks now, it's all the same old shit" and I thought, well rather than complain that NGU is "shit" I'm going to aim at improving it and I hope other people will join me in this. I usually post in General Chat and Debate, and pretty much no-where else. I'm going to attempt to spread my posts out and return to my old way of posting. Decent, well written threads. It's pointless complaining that some sections aren't given enough attention when I don't even post in them myself. The problem is even if I do post such threads people won't see them because there in the sub-forums they never check. So this is what this thread is for. To advertise the other threads I've made today and try to get people to spread their wings outside of General Chat. I'll try to post 3-5 threads a day, no massive well researched articles or anything, but decent threads which we can discuss and that might bring a bit of life to sections like the PC Gaming section, or the entire Nintendo section which I fought for. I'll also try to post a few retro-game based threads and see if people are up for talking about retro gaming, if so I will suggest a retro-games section be added.

I'll try and keep it varied, with film reviews, game reviews, news, opinion peices, and just general chat. Hopefully people will see this as a more positive way to change NGU for the better. Let's not fight over the site "not being the same", if you think NGU sucks, it's your job as members to make it a cool community again. Make some content if you can, but if you can't at least spread the word.

Thank threads, nominate threads. Like on 'Facebook', Tweet on 'Twitter', Share on 'StumbleUpon', 'igg', 'Reddit' and 'MySpace', +1 it on 'Google' and anything else you can think of. If you want people talking about say... Assassin's Creed. The only way that'll happen is if there's Assassin's Creed thread written, and they're shared to people who might like them. At the very least sharing good threads get's us quality members and while NGU's member base is growing, it's active members numbers are staying roughly the same. So here are my first three threads, I'll post a few more tomorrow.

What. NextGen has always been awesome for me. ^^
Have you seen the auctions section? It's ****ing loaded with stuff I want. I go through a dozen (more now) trades a month and more than 95% of them are through here. There's a reason I don't trade anywhere else; it sucks in comparison.
Then there's vbookie. One bet at a time, and before long I had over 1000 placed bets and a couple dozen million vbux. That was fun! I only stopped because I had so much vbux that my interest was more than I made lol.
Then there are the PS3 sections. Reason I joined and the reason I'm still here. Have you clicked What's New? recently? Cause every second or every third thread comes right from PS3 trophy exploits. So many PS3 exploits and news, oh my god, oh my god.
Last, but certainly the best, is the shoutbox. Different crew everytime, endless fun. Not much more needs to be said.

Thousands log on everyday to this site for a reason, it doesn't suck. To even dignify if ngu sucks? with a reply is absurd in my opinion, Nintendo fag.

Look, I'm sorry that you feel so butt hurt because I dare to consider NGU's flaws, but it's OK, I'm sure the admin appreciate having a sad little sycophant telling them how wonderful NGU is.

I especially love that you call me a "Nintendo fag" considering I'm a PC gamer and I own a PS2, PSP, a brand new PS3 I bought this week, I'm considering getting the PS Vita, and I'm a self admitting Sony fan. I also own an Xbox and Dreamcast, and regularly mention that I loved SEGA as a kid and never actually owned a Nintendo console. I don't even own a Wii or DS... it would be hilarious if you ever met an actual Nintendo fanboy rather than me, someone who just doesn't happen to hate Nintendo. I think your head would explode. You know I've NEVER actually played a Mario game on the Wii, and the only Zelda game I've ever played was A Link To The Past right? I love watching you Nintendo haters going nuts, it's so funny. All I have to do is mention Nintendo and you start to fume like it's the devil, it's almost as funny as watching Nintendo fanboys fuming if you say "Call Of Duty's not bad actually" around them.

Yeah, that's pretty much my point here. I'm looking to expand into the other areas because honestly, they're being ignored. This forum has great potential, but if the only places people go are General Chat then that's the only place that'll get posts. Hense why I'm aiming to make loads of threads in various different sub-forums, to basically provide the different areas with some content and give people a reason to go in there... I was hoping to get a few more threads posted today but I had a bad morning and then I started playing Deus Ex and lost track of time. I'll try and post something tonight though.

Who actually comes on NGU for glitches and shit anymore? :dumb:
