I have an English essay to write this week and its on the theme of "Creative Writing". Thing is, I have absolutely no ideas on what to write about. I was just wondering does anyone have any decent ideas which I could use? It has to be 800-1000 words

Thing is, we have to write it ourselves so paying attention in class helps very little in this instance

I enjoy writing satires. They are very fun and imaginative and yet bring to realization something that is wrong with the world. Do your best and try and find an assignment you will be able to read and say that you are proud of it. Cheers mate. :y:

every time i get an assignment, my teacher says "for example, you can write about your first shag".

why dont you do it on someone you admire like a family member or a sports star or even a person or if you want to make it easier do it on you about your life! it cant be much easier

I tried it and I got: "Horny Yakuza Play dress up with slow-witted witch doctors in accordance with the prophecy." I could easily write 1000 words using that as a plot.

just write down things that pop into your head when you brainstorm, and then go from there. see what you like and go with it. just start writing, the ideas will flow

Just use your imagination. What do you like, what appeals to you? What sort of films do you like? Think of it like a short film seen in your head as opposed to on the screen lol.

Just use your imagination. I had to write one of these just before christmas, in the end it turned out sh*t, so I'm probably the last person you should be taking advice from. Anyway, try to read some news articles and think of stories you could fit around it.
