So I'm a Freshmen, and I'm talking to a Junior...

My question is if its Better to be a younger guy in high school and date the older or Vise Versa be older and date younger as a guy?

Age really shouldn't matter (assuming it's legal). If you both have feelings for each other, what's age? Just a number.

It doesn't matter in the slightest, the age difference will be at most a few years, more likely it'll only be a matter of months. Maturity and age are not the same thing so really when it comed down to it, people should date people they share a connection with, have similar interests, outlooks and opinions to, and who they feel attracted to (because yes it is important). I've dated a 31 year old, followed by a 19 year old. So long as you're old enough to be seriously considering dating, age is largely irrelevánt (this word needs to be taken of the damn filters by the way, it doesn't hurt him, it just inconvieniences us).

This goes out to all the 8 year olds reading. Oi, you, yes you! Put down mummies laptop and clean away your toys, there are transformers figures and lego everywhere and you know you're only allowed on the laptop for 1 hour a night, and only if you got a gold star from teacher. Now do what you're told or there's no ice-cream.

Seriously though, please tell me there isn't a large number of 8-13 year olds. High school kids I can handle being on the site, but seriously, if you're young enough to ask "where do babies come from" and not get mocked, we should not be socialising online. Quite frankly I follow the golden rule when it comes to socialising. If when I describe the conversation to a friend in the pub the next night it sounds scathingly close enough to pedophile grooming that I would feel too self-conscious to mention it, then it's just not right. I don't need to be discussing video games with 8 year olds, especially not on a site largely aimed at Call Of Duty fans. Those games have guns in them for fúck sake. It's inappropriate and probably distracting the poor little kids from remembering their 4 times table, and watching Bob the Builder.

I'm honestly not joking though, the day the Admin confirm that a significant number of the members here have an age in the single digits is the day I leave NGU. I don't need to have conversations with people young enough to not have been born when the Twin Towers where attacked. I certainly don't want to be talking to someone who's younger than some PS2 games.... uuggghhh!
