>mfw kids watch 30 minute video, become social activist.

We need to fix our shit before we go and hop on other peoples problems. What Kony does is wrong, but is it our responsibility to interfere? No. That only causes problems, and the last thing America needs is a war with children because in reality who do you think would win? We don't kill kids. That's just fucked up. Solution? Stay the fuck out of their problems. Just because you're spreading the video doesn't mean shit. This has gone on for 20 years what can we do about it? We can pray and hope they fix this mess.

No matter how much money we send, the people who need it don't ever see it. The corrupt government leaders take it all for themselves.

I love how all of us think we know about Africa because we've read things on the internet. The internet lies IMMENSELY, if you want to talk about Africa and say what they do, go there. Then you'll know what really goes on, atm it's like we're looking through blurred glasses trying to guess what they're doing.

One thing is, raising awareness for KONY is good and if we could change the governments to listen to us more. It'd change the way governments work forever. This is what no one understands.

The Government of Uganda which is supposedly funding Joseph Kony

This campaign is corrupt. Invisible Children is ran by Hipsters, and the date is 4-20, Coincidence? I think not.
The money you 'Awesome faceonate' is sent to the Ugandan Government. For all we know they could be funding Kony.
No other country will do anything, because it's a useless cause, and it will affect their country more.
This is old news brought back up by a viral video, and mass media. This has been on going for 25+ years.
Stupid fucks on facebook only like the site, to feel like they're helping, which they're not.

It's sad that this is happening, but this will never stop, it's been happening before Kony's time, and it will happen after Kony's time. Nothing will ever come by us liking groups on facebook, or watching this video. How did Osama get caught? Over years, and by Navy mother fucking seals! Why did Hitler kill himself? His soldiers got stuck at two Russian fronts, and they couldn't supply both fast enough with food, ammo, weapons ect. so they died in the Russian Winter. Everyone was after him. Sheer coincidences if you ask me. Like Lux_R said, no one will help because they see Africa as a disgusting place, that's disease ridden, full of starving kids, and they just don't see why they should put so much money, into a 'useless' and 'failing' cause.

EDIT: I felt it was necessary to say, the U.S. and other countries have given millions of dollars to Uganda, but the Government is taking all that money. Only a small portion less then 30% of money raised is going to Uganda's Government, the rest is going to Invisible Children. These countries 'NOW' find it useless to send money over their, and see it as a waste of money.

This just seems to be another case of the White Man's Burden. We should not be made to feel guilty for something that is not remotley our fault.

I agree with some of this. I agree that the U.S. and other countries find it a waste of money because they see that Uganda is like you said basically 'Useless'. The part you left out was, the U.S. and other countries have tried helping out Uganda, but the Government (Which is supposedly supporting Kony) is taking all the money for themselves. So now they find it a worthless cause. I gave you a shoutout in my original post Smile
