Post: The Scale of the Universe!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My teacher showed us this today, it's an interactive scale that an astronomer made and it's pretty cool to see just how small we are compared to the rest of the universe that we can observe.

Oh, and Minecraft is bigger than the planet Neptune! :p

Minecraft is infinite therefore it is theoretically larger than the universe itself.

That's what I thought, but apparently it eventually does stop. Although, I doubt anyone will ever see the end, seeing that it's larger than the planet Neptune itself. :\

The original version of the game did end but the newer versions do not, they continue adding more and more...

It is interesting to think that we can look as far inward(smaller) as we can outward into space, relative to or own size.
I realize it is not a measure of distance, just makes you realize how much we have learned in the last hundred years and how much more we will learn in the future...
