CoD4 - Don't fix something that isn't broken.

In my opinion I think the thing that made Call of Duty go down hill was all the lack of balance in the game. Call of Duty 4 was a very balanced game perhaps the most balanced Call of Duty ever, it had its share of hacking of course but the guns were balanced and it wasn't like going up against a noob with a UMP45 every three seconds.

Still better than MW3:

- Story is much better and had a plot unlike MW3 where you just shoot everthing.
- Survival mode is a shitty version of zombies /end.
- Multiplayer is full of:
1. 1337 Quickscope kids who rage if they aren't killed by sniper.
2. Nolife faggots who use the noobiest guns the game have often with a party.
3. Boosters/glitchers.

And the guns aren't balanced; everyone uses "no recoil" MP7, PP90 with rapid fire, ACR/scar or bolt action sniper rifles. Not to mention OP FMG-9 Akimbo.

Yeah, it is just so shit now. Call of Duty 4 was the best IMO, and I think that it was wrecked by 9 year old kids screaming down into their microphones while only caring about headshots, 360s, no scopes and quickscopes.

I have two possible reasons in mind. The traditional (and recycled) COD formula may be getting old, and the fans themselves are desiring change (but are given negative changes to the game mechanics). Otherwise, I think that the developer's attempt to appeal to a larger (and unfortunately younger) audience is subtracting possible positive changes, and is incorporating more user-friendly (or "noob-friendly") amends to the game mechanics instead. But hey, maximizing profits is more beneficial to the company than customer glorification, right?
