I dont mean to rain on your parade, Seriously, I know ill get groaned..

People have tried this so many times, There are so many campaigns about this, It wont happen with a petition. So many of these have came and gone, and not a single developer has included it. Due to it being a console its not as easy to custom remap buttons (Security risks) and many other problems such as people will moan about balancing with this.

I agree with your cause, but i cant see it happening any time soon.

Security risks? What like binding commands? I mean come on, I'm sure if they implemented it, it would be fine. And about no developers enabling it, did you not watch the video? Apparently that Nexuiz game has it and Valve enabled it for Portal 2.

Portal 2 was made by a company that cares about its customers though.

Someone needs to watch the video... valve stepped up and patched it. And if we never try nothing ever happens. Oh and when I go to PAX I personally deliver this to developers.

But you stated that no developer has it. You were wrong and there won't be any security risks either. Clearly Activision couldn't give a crap but I'm sure other developers would be more open.
