(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The infamous question, My Turtle Beach Dpx21's broke today and i want a new headset, but which ones should i get. i dont like TB flimsy, ugly design but they work great with DD 7.1! The Tritton's look very sturdy, comfortable, and also have 7.1 DDSS. The Astro's are expensive, but look sturdy, and MLG DD 7.1.

I only really know about the Turtle Beaches, think you guys can help me out with the other ones, which ones should i get?

You're making that up right? My little baby sister broke my turtle beach headset from just pulling the wire that goes through headband to speakers...

No, I have literally done all that. My bed is the opposite side of the room as the computer, when I'm done with them, I yank them off my head, and throw them over my shoulder onto the bed. Sometimes I miss. I think they're built great, no problems.

Really, your gonna groan me for that post...

Well it's obvious that you have a carpet floor and it's not a very long distance from your bed to your computer. Well ok I'll remove the groan which doesn't do anything, idk why you're pointing it out.

I would say Trittons. They have superior build quality to the Turtles and the bass that Astros don't have. They also have a 5.1 headset for cheaper than Astros which are just simulated.

from experience... i would have to say that Astro's are better. The are expensive, but its for a reason. They don't break as often as Turtle Beaches and Trittons. And, the sound quality is amazing... i suggest that you go search some review videos on youtube. it would really persuade you in getting Astros.

I think this is the best headset, it's just like Turtle Bitches and Astros, but it's wireless, and if it does need to be charged, you can charge it while using it =D

I have never tried Astros personally and I have heard they are a fantastic headset and I'm sure they are they are also known as being unbelievably comfortable I have also owned 3 pair of trittons two pair broke because of technical reasons not physical reasons but they had amazing sound quality and were very sturdy. In my opinion almost too sturdy they were pretty heavy and personally got rather annoying on long gaming periods.

My favorite headset and current headset is the Turtle Beach PX5. I absolutely love this headset and words just can't explain it. It is light yet heavy duty and is one of the only 7.1 dolby digital fully wireless headset and usually wireless headsets do not get as great of a signal but connecting over bluetooth it is suprising how well it works. Also this is the most customizable out of the three brands it has 8 customizable presets that you can change bass, treble, etc. you can also connect to your phone through bluetooth and listen to music, make phone calls, etc. Keep in mind this is going to run off of AA batteries but it has to with no cords it is also not going to have as good of sound quality or get as loud as the Trittons or Astros but it gets plenty loud and I can hear everything and personally I would rather have the functionality you get with the PX5 rather than the straight sound with the other too.
