Long Gone Day
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The infamous question, My Turtle Beach Dpx21's broke today and i want a new headset, but which ones should i get. i dont like TB flimsy, ugly design but they work great with DD 7.1! The Tritton's look very sturdy, comfortable, and also have 7.1 DDSS. The Astro's are expensive, but look sturdy, and MLG DD 7.1.

I only really know about the Turtle Beaches, think you guys can help me out with the other ones, which ones should i get?

If you have the money get astros but if you don't want to spend that much get trittons.

Today Will Be Different
I'd go with the Trittons. And I say this because I went from Turtle Beach's which obviously are flimsy and don't have much in the way of being sturdy. Not only that they are notorious for breaking. Now for the Trittons I currently have the AX720s which are the white ones and have simulated 5.1 DD. Now the AXPROs are 7.1 actual DD not simulated I believe, but they also cost more. Both have the same rigid design and are quite confortable in my opinion and and fit snuggly again my opinion.

I've never owned Astro's but I've heard they are the best gaming headset out there, but they are also the most expensive gaming headset out there. I would provide some info on them but I've never really looked into them or own a pair so I wouldn't know about them.

Ain't No Telling
Right now, I have a TurtleBeach p11, but I would say to go with Trittons.
It's probably top of the line for the money your spending on it.

I have Tritton Ax720s, they're great Smile The only thing I don't like is that the older models (like mine) are very rigid and the earcups aren't as flexible as the Astros. But the 2012 model has flexible earcups Winky Winky Although I think the sound is great, I can hear footsteps from a mile away and love playing SnD with them :p Another good thing is that it's ready out of the box, with Astros you need to buy a Mixamp which is expensive while with the Trittons everything is included. A bad thing about them is the microphone. I think mine broke after a week :O So don't expect a good microphone, it's good quality just easily damaged. Don't get turtle beaches :dumb:
Go with Trittons or Astro depending on how much money you are willing to spend Winky Winky

turtle beaches are cheap but very easily broken... I love my TB's but no matter how much i protect them something cracks.. honestly I'd get trittons when my TB's break because they seem much more stable

disregard all other gaming headsets, get astro a40s. turtlebeach and tritons always end up breaking but arent the best to begin with. yeah, astros are expensive as shit but youll spend the same amount of money on several headsets over the years if you buy different ones due to repairing them or replacing them. ive had my a40s a long time now and theyre unreal. the sound quality is obviously unbelievable and you can hear everything in video games better but theyre durable as fuk. ive sat on the headsets themselves by accident and they just go back into place themselves, perfectly. ive had drinks spilled on the mix-amp and its still perfectly working and ripped the wire out of both the headset and mix amp loads of times and they never broke

Only have Turtlebeach's myself and mine are thrown on the floor, been flung across the room, kicked, stood on, and still work great.
They go through batteries pretty quickly, but if you use rechargables its not a problem.

You're making that up right? My little baby sister broke my turtle beach headset from just pulling the wire that goes through headband to speakers...
