Well its seems that New York State banned over 3 Thousand Sex Offenders from the gaming scene. New York states that they used the online gaming world to make friends and eventually ask their "friends" to meet them in real life. This new law is called "Operation: Game Over" Now as of right now they have been working with gaming platforms owned by Microsoft, Apple, Blizzard Entertainment, Electronic Arts, Warner Bros. and Disney Interactive Media Group.

What they basically did is got sex offenders, and there information and wiped out any information that matched with the console.

Xbox's and Playstations are more than just gaming consoles. They are social hubs for many people, including minors. This operation should be nation-wide if not international.

To be honest I don't want those types of people in our gaming services.

Pichu
RIP PICHU.
I don't know what to think about this because a Sex Offender could be someone as simple as getting drunk, having their pants fall off and their dick stick out with a child near by and then suddenly you are a sex offender.

(That is a least severe case)

I think that they should just leave em alone to be honest, the bad ones are going to find ways around it anyways.

Chaz
Tremble Underfoot
That's pretty intuitive. I'm sure we can all expect them to expand this to different states in the time being.
