(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so I noticed that we reach 750,000 or 3/4 million members a while back, and I made this thread to show you guys when I think we're going to hit the big 1 million and I also wanted to see if we could actually get a general discussion going about this topic and what you think will happen and all that shiz.

Okay so NGU roughly gets 500 new members per day (493 to be exact), just saying this is a mean number and is definitely not the exact amount. This number was worked out by the number of members we have now and the number of days NGU has existed for.

As I write this we have 735,826 members.

so we need 264,174 more members to reach 1 million!

With around 500 members a day (average 492.159), this means we will roughly meet the milestone in 537 days, the date being:

19th August 2013

please correct me if my calculations are wrong, especially with the date being 537 days away because I probably miss calculated it by a few days, but the rough time is mid-August.

so the discussion is, do you think it is going to take that long to reach 1 million? Do you think what the admins are planning now will speed up this process? What do you think will happen when we reach 1 million? What are your thoughts on the date given and the amount of time left? Do you have any suggestions or ideas of when we will hit 1 million or do you think it will be around the same time that I have stated? Do you have any suggestions that might speed up the process (if they are valid suggestions that you really think might work and haven't been suggested before and aren't stupid, post them in You must login or register to view this content.)?

I don't think it will take that long really. The more people that join the more people that find out about it. Its exponential and will only go up at a higher rate. I believe we can speed it up even more depending what hacks/games come out.

or we can wait 4 more days and let it be on my birthday. 23 ftw.

Not such an important day :boss: we forget birthdays and start thinking about Xmas after the 19th :p.

I think it's really hard to call it - as there are so many factors which can influence it dramatically.

I would say your figure is the absolute minimum for us, and I would also say that we tend to get around 600-800 members but that number has fallen since we went down for a few days; it'll pick up though. My guess is January 2012 but as I said there are a number of things which could change that.

Yeah January 2012 sounds about right
