(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys. I've had my trophy shop up for a couple of weeks now. I've gotten a considerable amount of orders and have received a lot of payments. As a result Paypal has limited my account. When I called, the Paypal people asked where I got the money from. Have any of you guys encountered this problem? And if so, how do you get around it? Also this is how my Paypal is set up. I have one "proxy" account which I use to receive money that are payments; once the order is completed I send the money from the proxy to my actual Paypal, from where I withdraw my money. I could really use the help. This is somewhat related; is selling trophies illegal? To the best of my knowledge I don't think I'm breaking any laws or copyrights but I'm not 100% sure. Because I was thinking of using selling trophies as the reasoning to Paypal. I want to continue doing this but at this rate it may not last.

I need some help, so this is what I got from them in a email.

For the safety and security of the PayPal network, we often review accounts
for potential risks. After reviewing your account, we have decided to close
it because of security issues.

We are making every effort to minimize any disruption to your business.

If your PayPal account balance is zero, and you have no unresolved buyer
complaints or chargebacks, your account will remain limited.

-----------------------------------
Disbursement options
-----------------------------------

Option 1. If you owe refunds to any of your buyers, you can use the money
in your PayPal account to refund them.

To refund your buyers:
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click "Contact Us" at the bottom of any page.
3. Click "Contact Customer Service."
4. Under "Choose a Topic," select "Sending/Receiving Money."
5. Under "Choose a Subtopic," select "Refund/Cancel a Payment."
6. Click "Continue" and follow the instructions to refund payments.

Option 2. Money in your PayPal account will be held for 180 days. After 180
days, we'll email you information on how to receive your funds.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

Thanks,

PayPal

Can anyone tell me what to do?

Damn, fuck PayPal! They are closing your account over this? I suggest you e-mail or call PayPal about this and explain to them that you are running a service for members on a gaming forum.

I tried, they are being a bunch of asses. They told me that they don't feel comfortable being my partner because I received $75, what do they think I do, sell drugs? Whatever I emailed them asking whether I can open another one, maybe a business account but by the way does anyone know any other ways to transfer money safe and quick and something that a lot of people on ngu use. I know that I am being really specific but I don't really want to start using another service like paypal then find out that not that many people on ngu use that making it really pointless, Thanks for the help so far.

Also I would like to know what are the requirements to opening a business account on paypal if they allow me to.

I suggest you just open another PayPal account since that is what people mainly use here. Also, show them your shop and tell them exactly what you are doing. They are full retard these days.

Okay Thanks that's probably what I am going to end up doing, but wouldn't they block the account when they find out that it has the same bank account?

No, I don't think so. Julian, a member here, runs a PayPal verifying service in which he adds his bank account to your account to verify it and then removes it so you must be able to use it over and over again to verify your account(s).
