Hopefully I might learn something and end up with an epic knife.

I don't know much about knives, but what are you going to cut? There's different knives for different objects. Maybe look into the type of knife you need and go on from there

Google is always you friend for shit like that, I doubt many people on NGU know what a good set of cooking knife is. If I was gonna go with something though it would probally be a recognised brand name set of knives.
