(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); what are your thoughts on the future of earth. with all of the things that scientists and nut jobs come up with and say about our earth not lasting, what do you think. once you factor in 2012, new self controlling technology, greenhouse effect, global warming, war, nuclear war heads blowing up the world, religion, and many others. do you think that our future is even on this world? scientists say they found planets just like ours we could go to and they say we could maybe live on mars someday. what are your ideas and thoughts on all of this?

Given the current world situation, I do not forsee the human race going back into space anytime soon. Given that we have not been to the moon since the 70's and the only exploration has been probes, makes it even further doubtful. Maybe in 100yrs maybe then.

2012 won't happen, and who ever believes this shit is an idiot, just like the guy that said about the Rapture and it didn't happen, then he makes himself look like a more of of idiot by saying he got the wrong date. Thing is, if by the small 0.00000001% chance it does happen, then no-one can call be an idiot because we will be all dead anyway :p. With the population constantly on the increase with the world now over 7billion people, I think something needs to happen. It won't be before long that Earth can't cope with the amount of people needed it's resources. Medicines curing diseases that once killed and making people live longer. Sounds harsh but something big will eventually happen and wipe out a lot of the population, whether it be a nuclear war or just NK blowing themselves sky high with a dodgy Nuke they tested, or before long we might see another ice age. The world is fucked right now, and we are only making it worse. Governments don't care though because they make money from fucking up the world by not switching to renewable energy and funding for cars to be made by running on something that doesn't give emissions and use electricity from non-renewable energy.

I also think we have no right to go to another planet, either. We'd only have some stupid people in government again and we'd only go and fuck that planet up. We've done this to ourselves but it won't be us paying the price for it, it will be many generations down the line.

I'm pretty worried about the Fukishima Power Plant in Japan. If anything ends the world, it will be mutations and radiation poisoning from the radiation. That reactor still in't "off", it's still spitting out radiation...

First off, I know all this 2012 is bullshit. Naturally if something has enough coincidences people will believe it and it spreads like wild fire. Some say the world is going into a deep freeze, some say global warming will raise the global temperature, I don't know what to believe but I do know that the earth does go through ice age cycles. Nuclear warheads can get through a deal of earth crust, but its physically impossible to blow up the world. We can possibly live on mars, yes, but I don't think we can even self sustain ourselves here on earth to be honest.
