(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This is a site where you are to both give and receive help.

I see a lot of posts which contain reasonable questions but yet the users get flamed at or groaned at for no reasons.

I also see many threads which are alsos reasonable asking for help that have 100+ views but yet no replies.

I myself reply and help to whatever i can. the members of ngu somewhat need to grow up and help users more rather than flame and groan.

Your generalising perhaps a thread has 100 views and no replies is because nobody knows how to solve the problem I'd rather have no replies in the thread than 100 posts saying "Sorry OP but I don't know how to fix your problem" etc.

i help whenever i can but i'm not gonna go to every thread and just say "looks like i can't help you with that. better luck on the next comment." that would probably also qualify as post boosting.

i agree with your point completely, but i also think there are certain ways you could reply even if you yourself don't know the answer. you could direct them to a certain section on here, user on here, or other websites etc.

for example, if someone was looking for a mw3 modded lobby on ps3 :carling: , and for arguement's sake let's say there is one, you could say, "why don't you check the MW3 exploits section, and link them to it. you don't always necessarily need to have the answer, but just guide someone in the right direction.

I don't agree with the posts above.. If you don't know the solution to a problem you can always try bu suggesting anything? And maybe the suggestion you are not sure about is the thing to do ? Smile

Daddy's home.
What annoys me is "Cool story bro" "TLAwesome faceR", which why the fuck did you have to post if you didn't read? or just an image of a meme. Shit get's annoying because everyone thinks they're a 4chan bad ass troll guy who's funny, but you're not. I'll get prepared for all the "Cool story bro"'s shall I?

Alot of people will post Question Threads not doing Research. Thats mainly why they get "Flamed" Thats why you had better look really hard before Asking a question in a Thread. Because some ngu members don't hesitate to -Rep you :megusta: If I can help I will.

A few points to make-

  • Most questions asked have been asked before and answered, that's why people are generally told to search before posting.
  • Looking through your posts shows nothing that suggests you 'help out' regularly, what makes you different from us?
  • Just because they view the thread doesn't mean they know the answer. I'm sure if I stumbled upon a help thread and did know the answer, I would post it. As would most others here.
