Seriously, it shouldn't make a difference and if it does then the person thinking it does is a racist themselves.

I hate seeing this because the news only broadcasts things officers do that is bad, 99% of officers are good, 1% is bad. It's like that in almost any job and yet you only hear the bad that they do. Hell, we had a couple officers killed where I live trying to do good and a 1 page article was written with about 3 days of coverage. 1 officer messed up and did what he thought was good ended up being bad and that story was put up for about 2 weeks...
